The former director of a letting agency has been charged with fraud, false accounting and theft totalling around £450,000.

Heather Crabb, who owned Drake Homes in Plymouth, Devon, from 2005 until it closed in September 2016, is due to appear in court in March this year, according to the Plymouth Herald.

She was arrested in December 2016 following a series of complaints from landlords and tenants in and around Plymouth.

Crabb, 51, of Citadel Road, Plymouth, was charged with two counts of fraud by abuse of position, one count of false accounting, and two counts of theft.

The alleged offences are reported to have taken place between April 1, 2016 and September 1, 2016.
