Marketing group rebrands to become Guild of Property Professionals

fIXFLO news story

The Guild of Professional Estate Agents has rebranded to become the Guild of Property Professionals.

With a membership of almost 800 independent estate agents across the UK, the Guild was launched 20 years ago.

The new look brand was unveiled at the Guild’s conference last week.

Marcus Whewell, CEO of the Guild, said: “We believe our core values are exactly aligned with what a buyer, seller, landlord or tenant would want and expect from a leading agent.

“We represent thousands of property professionals who live and act by those principles, and changing our name puts their skills and expertise at the forefront of our identity, clearly communicating what it means to be a Guild member.

“The majority of property movers want to secure a successful outcome with minimum stress, meaning clients need timely and appropriate advice from someone they can trust, and who knows how to market their property effectively.

“Members of the public can expect these high standards from every Guild agent, especially as we relaunch our training platform and introduce compulsory reviews.”

Alongside the Guild’s rebrand announcement, it also introduced auditing for new members, and a review of its existing offices.

This initiative will be led by Paul Offley, who has nearly 40 years’ experience in the estate agency industry, and who joined the team as the in-house compliance officer in January.

Offley was head of risk at Halifax Estate Agents for 21 years, and more recently group lettings controller at HM Lettings, part of the Nottingham Building Society.
