A new estate and letting agency franchise is being launched.
Called Monopoly Buy Sell Rent, the business was originally started by managing director Simon Evans in 2013 and has operated two branches, in Wrexham and north Wales. It is only now that franchises are being offered.
The model has been developed by a specialist business brokerage and franchise development firm, Transworld Business Advisors, an American business which started in Florida and expanded into the UK last year.
The model offered to franchisees is a ‘hybrid’ agency.
Franchisees will need a total investment of £19,950 – covering the actual franchisee fee of £9,950 and £10,000 for marketing.
Franchisees will be offered a loan at 6% to cover the costs plus additional working capital, up to £25,000.
Transworld, which is itself a franchise organisation that helps people buy, sell and franchise their businesses, is hoping to recruit ten estate agency franchisees this year.
Paul Mitchell, managing director at Transworld Business Advisors, said: “This estate agency franchise neatly fills the void between the high overhead traditional high street estate agent and the no-frills online model. We think this is a fantastic option for those interested in a property franchise.”
Monopoly Buy Sell Rent is holding an informal discovery event on Friday, January 20, at the Hilton Olympia. To reserve a space, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
